Self awareness assessment

Save yourself before you save others…

Most of us have heard this expression when we board a and listen out to the inflight safety checks. In business and life it’s usually the opposite. People tend to have lots of advice or help they want to share. Which is great, but often may not fit you. Finding out a bit more about yourself can help you to identify the advice that will be more suitable or at least help you use that advice more effectively. Let me explain…

Becoming more self aware is a helpful practise. It will help you get closer to how you operate, why you operate and what ways you could operate differently on. Being self aware isn’t about boxing ourselves in and just being that, its understanding how we can adapt and flex our styles to help meet others styles. By doing so you are likely to become more collaborative, more credible or even just feel in more control with others around you.

To find out a little more about yourself take the quiz bellow. Share your scores to coach.e.dfoy@gmail.com and I can share with you your results and a little more detail about them.

How to fill in the quiz:

  • Grab a piece of paper and a pen
  • Draw four columns and name each column 1, 2, 3, 4
  • Down the left hand side write 1 – 15 (like each row is a separate question)
  • Using the below table across each row select only two words that best describes you
  • Put a mark or tick next to the question number within the columns you selected your 2 words from
  • Total your score up for each column (your total score should equal 30) and share over your results for each column

(I will only see your total score not the words you have selected for yourself!)
